Two cock pheasants apparently enjoying the view over our back fence, after taking their fill of poultry corn first thing this morning.
Much better than yesterday, when the wind was so strong that all the loose grain blew away, and the small birds spent the whole day hiding in trees and shrubs instead of foraging.
A superb and calm view depicting weather we don't yet have. It is almost Spring-like. Lovely.

Yes - we are very lucky. Our neighbours have the prized sea view - but it's over flat land, and I think our valley is much more interesting, with a working farm and quarry to look at. Not to mention the odd Chinook or Hercules lumbering past at eye level.
